The island of Flores is the westernmost point of the Azores Archipelago and of the European continent. With an area of around 55 square miles, and about 4000 inhabitants.

The island of Flores (Flowers) is our most favorite island for its raw nature, the island is carved with deep valleys and high peaks, crater lagoons bordered by hydrangeas, stunning waterfalls, cliffs carved by grottoes, hot springs and the remains of old volcanoes. Pastures, farms and vineyards complete the make-up of the landscape of Flores Island.

Pristine untouched nature!

Our favorited is exploring the coast in a semi-rigid. Crystal clear blue ocean, contrasting with the dark lava coast; piercing through towering water falls to enter sea caves large enough to conceal a pirate caravel.
